If yes, you have come to the right place. Laylat Al Qadr in will be observed on Tuesday, 20th June. Some Muslims spend most of the time during the last 10 days and nights of Ramadan in a mosque. During the hours of daylight, they pray, read the Koran and may rest or sleep. It is also believed that this night marks the Muslims fate in the following year.

It is considered the holiest day of the year. Laylatul Qadr falls on the 27th day of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is the highlight of the Ramadan period. Muslims use a lunar calendar which differs in length from the Gregorian calendar used worldwide. This means the Gregorian date of Muslim holidays shifts slightly from one year to the next, falling about 11 days earlier each year. There is a difference of opinion over the exact date of Laylat al-Qadr, but there is a general consensus it should take place in the last 10 days of Ramadan, with odd-numbered days being more likely. Most Muslims celebrate Laylatul Qadr on the 27th of Ramadan, but some Muslim communities may do so on a different date.

Peace it is until the emergence of dawn. The following morning, the sun rises pure without rays. On that night, the angels on earth are more numerous than its pebbles. On it, it is impossible for a star to be shot [at a devil] until morning comes. Its [other] sign is that in the morning after it, the sun rises brightly and without rays, similar to a full moon; and it is impossible for Satan to come out with it on that day.

Laylat al-Qadr falls on the last 10 nights of the Islamic month of Ramadan, and it commemorates the night when Allah revealed the Koran to Mohammad. This year, , it falls on Wednesday 21 June, and is considered by Muslims to be the holiest night of the year.

Muslims believe that on this night the blessings and mercy of God are abundant, sins are forgiven, supplications are accepted, and that the annual decree is revealed to the angels who also descend to earth, especially the angel Gabriel , referred to as "the Spirit", to perform every and any errand decreed by God. Sunni Islam holds that God alone answers humanity's supplications and that He alone receives them and forgives humanity and gives them what they ask for, and that on this particular night Muslims should actively seek God's forgiveness and engage in various acts of worship. Some commentators believe that the Quran was revealed to Muhammad twice; the 'immediate revelation' happening on the Laylat al-Qadr and 'gradual revelation' across 23 years. The specific date of Laylat al-Qadr is not mentioned in the Quran. In Islamic countries and Sunni communities all over the world, Laylat al-Qadr is found to be on the last ten nights of Ramadan, mostly on one of the odd nights 21st, 23rd, 25th, 27th or 29th whereby night precedes day.
